INTRO to SQL SERVER 2012 BI Why can’t the world just stay the same? Why can’t I just stick to SQL? Why in the World do I want to Use Tabular Models or Multidimensional Cubes and how do I choose between them? You’ve spent your career becoming proficient at relational database design and SQL, but with every version of SQL Server, you keep on hearing about how BI is over taking the database world. You finally decide to take a crack at it in the latest version of SQL Server, and it seems more complicated than ever. Now not only are you seemingly faced with jumping from SQL into something else, you also are faced with major choices between what that newfangled BI model should be made of! Never fear, MVP Will Pearson is here to ease your way into becoming a BI expert. In this session he will provide an overview of what problems SSAS is designed to solve and how to navigate your way through the choices of models that SSAS provides. Bio: William E.
